It's been too long. (Plenty of great food and wine where we were, too!) I'm glad you enjoyed the post. It was a lovely trip, with a ratio of about 6 parts relaxation to 2 parts exploring new places and 2 parts research. That's a higher proportion of relaxation than usual for us, but this time I needed it.Tinney Heathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18383946402836289511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025295042007800999.post-63379680448039359232017-04-14T14:54:58.179-07:002017-04-14T14:54:58.179-07:00Glad to hear you are safely back. Too bad you weren't across the table from me with some good food and wine in between. All in all, I think I prefer my medieval Italian cities, but this had its own charms.

Not sweating the small stuff is a challenge for me, but we've been to Italy often enough now that I think I've more or less got the hang of it.

Love the "buzz, buzz" story! I find one of the more interesting things in travel is trying to communicate with others without help.....in Italy on a trip with my parents,my mother discovered a whole lot of mosquitos in their room so she went to the desk and when "buzz, buzz, buzz" and then imitated a spray and within 10 minutes the hotel had sent someone with bug spray!!! Travel is great fun if you look for fun and don't "sweat the small stuff."
MaryEllenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15656740230744385240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025295042007800999.post-61720914011266976072017-04-12T18:22:38.585-07:002017-04-12T18:22:38.585-07:00Great story Tinney!
